When approached to help with the renovation of a flat for these clients and their two adorable daughters, their renovations were already underway.

While some decisions had been made and products ordered, others were coming thick and fast - at too high a speed for working professionals to handle, and in areas they were less familiar with. Moreover, both had clear ideas of what they wanted, but some preferences diverged.

With the construction clock ticking, together we worked through a number of topics, helping their visions align to create greater coherence and harmony in the design. Perhaps the greatest unlock was reconsidering the location and layout of the dining and sitting rooms, which another designer had initially provided.

Areas of advice included

  • Space planning

  • Colour (walls, floors, doors)

  • Flooring and tiling

  • Kitchen design revisions
